Who is Eligible?
Anyone with a life limiting illness that has a life expectancy of six months or less, certified by their physician, may be eligible for hospice.
Who Pays for Hospice Care?
Hospice is a benefit provided to all Medicare and Medicaid recipients which may result in no out-of-pocket expenses for hospice covered services. Some private insurances are accepted and coverage varies depending on the type of plan.
