This Christmas season, Capitol Home Health and Capitol Senior Care employees all joined together to help Capitol sponsor three families through Foundation Communities by having our annual gift drive for 2015! This was such a joyous and rewarding activity and we’re honored to have helped make sure these three families got everything on their wishlists!

Foundation Communities is a local, homegrown nonprofit. They provide affordable, attractive homes and free on-site support services for thousands of families with kids, as well as veterans, seniors and individuals with difficulties. Foundation Communities offer an innovative, proven model that empowers the residents and neighbors to achieve educational success, financial stability and healthier lifestyles! They currently own and operate 18 communities all over Austin and North Texas.

This year, Capitol was matched with three families as their holiday sponsor and we couldn’t have been happier to help! We sponsored 13 children and 3 parents and were all able to join in and get them each 3-6 gifts! Sharon Earley, our Director of Clinical Services, was able to find 7 bicycles and with a little love and elbow grease, her and Jenny Jensen, our Marketing Director, were able to get them in perfect shape for the kids! Barbie dolls, footballs and clothing were also in abundance, thanks to all of our amazing employees! It is always so wonderful to be able to give back and Capitol has been blessed in being able to do so!
